Chillin in the kitchen at the Solis', I look over and notice the bottom of the Arrowhead water cooler. I laugh and walk over to grab my camera. 26. "Growing pains"
Starting around 11am Friday afternoon, I show up at the Solis' ready to start the suspension swap. The night before we "got stuck in a puddle" and had to continue the next day. We ran into a couple problems during the install, but overall it was a fun week seeing my friend Chris revamping his car and talking about future plans. That plus watching "Love the Beast" has re-inspired me to learn more about my car and this thing we call a hobby. Sometimes it feels like it might be more than just a hobby. Like Chris put it, passion.

3-21-10 007 wagon
All i need now are some rocket launchers, a tux and a martini.
I noticed that the ducks came back today to sleep by the pool again. So I snuck outside to try to get a close up shot, but again they noticed me. I need to get one of those duck callers and some camo.
3-20-10 "Cars & Coffee"
prying my eyes open, I hear my cell phone ringing on my desk. I suddenly jump out of bed when put my glasses on and noticed that it was almost 6:15am. I quickly get ready and dressed and head over to my friends' house to meet up. We had decided to go to a weekly car meet they call Cars & Coffee where hundreds of exotics, unique cars and motorcycles gather to have coffee and check out everybody's prized possessions. This happens every Saturday morning in the same parking lot and since it was my first time it was even more exciting. The cars I saw in this parking lot made the L.A. Auto Show look pretty sad for being a huge sponsored event, but of course they're not really comparable

3-17-10 "Happy St.Patrick's Day!"
So my new fish eye lens came in today and I tried it out and so far I've been enjoying it. Pretty good stuff for the price. But it's too bad that I had such a busy day. I was really looking forward to drinking those O'hara's but i'll save those for the weekend since BevMo closed at 9pm. Cheers to everybody who was part Irish today :)

3-16-10 "laser engraving"
While I was at work, I got an idea for an interesting picture and decided to try to take a picture of the laser engraving. After the 1st shot I realized that I'd need some smoke or powder to actually get the full effect. But I'll have to save that for another day.
I was walking in the front yard and this little white flower that looked like it needed it's picture taken. I should get some lighting equipment.

It's Sunday evenings like this one when I really get to appreciate my car. After that crazy rainy period we just got over passed I finally decided to wash my car that day. But towards the late afternoon.. I was starting to get pretty lazy because we had a pretty eventful weekend and just stuffed our faces with various bbq foods and didn't want to wash it. But I knew I would be thankful that I did, and I was.

3-10-10 "duck hunt"
I came home today after school and went outside to give Brownie some water. Before I went back inside, I noticed a pair of ducks sitting in pool. I tried to get a close up shot but they got scared and flew away. Good thing my telephoto lens will be here by Friday so that won't happen next time. Hopefully.

Cruising along in the 2nd lane, I pull up next to this two tone dub bus. It definitely looked like it was taken care of. Too bad I couldn't get a better picture of it.
